Recently, multiple large-scale photovoltaic projects have started construction both domestically and internationally, with a total scale of 7.5 gigawatts, covering areas such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Laos, and Chongqing, China, demonstrating the accelerated global energy transition.

In the United Arab Emirates, the world's largest integrated solar energy storage project laid its foundation in Abu Dhabi on October 23rd. The photovoltaic installed capacity of this project is 5.2 gigawatts, equipped with a 19 gigawatt hour energy storage system. China Power Construction is responsible for the construction of the northern block (2.1 gigawatts of photovoltaic+7.6 gigawatt hours of energy storage). The total investment of the project exceeds 22 billion dirhams, and it is expected to be put into operation in 2027, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 5.7 million tons per year.

The 2 GW photovoltaic project in Saudi Arabia started construction on October 28th, jointly undertaken by multiple units under China Energy Engineering Corporation. As an important component of Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision, this project will effectively optimize the local energy structure and is another significant breakthrough for Chinese companies in the Saudi new energy market.

The 50 MW photovoltaic project in Laos was launched on October 25th, jointly constructed by Jiangxi Renjiang Technology and Laos Kaiyuan Mining. After the completion of the project, the annual power generation will reach 60 million kilowatt hours, saving 20000 tons of standard coal and reducing 50000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, providing stable green electricity for the local circular economy industrial park.

The Chongqing Tongliang 250000 kW Agricultural Photovoltaic Complementary Project started construction on October 28th, with a total investment of about 1 billion yuan. It adopts the "on-board power generation, off board planting" mode, with an expected annual power generation of about 289 million kWh, achieving the organic combination of clean energy and agricultural development.
