Recently, Chinese infrastructure companies have received frequent good news in overseas markets, signing multiple major engineering contracts covering key areas such as hospitals, water supply, aviation, and roads and bridges. From Peru in South America to Timor Leste and the Philippines in Asia, to Kenya and Ethiopia in Africa, the successful signing of these projects not only demonstrates the strong competitiveness and excellent technical strength of Chinese enterprises in the international engineering market, but also injects new strong impetus into deepening the connectivity and mutually beneficial cooperation of countries along the "the Belt and Road".

China Power Construction Corporation settles in Peru to build a northern medical center

China Electric Power Construction Corporation announced that its subsidiary, China Hydropower Construction Group International Engineering Co., Ltd., has officially signed a contract with the National Health Investment Program of Peru for the design and construction of a highly complex hospital in the Piura region of Peru, with an amount of approximately 6.568 billion yuan. The project is located in the city of Piura in northern Peru, and will build a modern large hospital covering an area of 37780 square meters with a building area of 98141.29 square meters. Four buildings are planned to be constructed, each with 7 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, including 387 beds, 15 operating rooms, and advanced medical facilities such as radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. The project contract period is 1080 days, and after completion, it will greatly improve the local medical service level.

Beijing's urban construction has signed four consecutive contracts, and the water, air, and road networks are blooming at multiple points

At the same time, Beijing Urban Construction Group has achieved intensive breakthroughs in the international market, signing four important contracts in a row:

The S ã o Paulo Water Supply System Upgrade Project in Timor Leste: The contract for the project was officially signed in the presence of the Prime Minister and several ministers of Timor Leste. As the largest water supply project since the founding of Timor Leste, the project covers hundreds of thousands of residents and aims to comprehensively improve water intake, quality, and storage capacity. This is the "debut" of Beijing Urban Construction in the East Timor market, which is of great significance.

Nairobi Central Business District Pipeline Upgrade and Repair Project in Kenya: Beijing Urban Construction and CGCOC formed a consortium and successfully signed the contract for the project. The project will upgrade the water supply system in the core area of Nairobi and become the first demonstration project in East Africa to adopt non excavation expansion pipe construction technology, demonstrating Beijing Urban Construction's technological innovation and localized cooperation capabilities.

The Phase 3 of the preliminary project of Ethiopia's Bishovtu International Airport: Successfully signed a contract with Ethiopian Airlines Group, marking an important milestone achievement in the Ethiopian market. The airport is a national key project of Ethiopia, and when completed, it will strengthen the position of Addis Ababa as an aviation hub, and also add a new example to China Egypt cooperation under the framework of the "the Belt and Road".

The Laguna Lakefront Road Network Project Phase I, Section 3 in the Philippines: Successfully signed this contract, achieving Beijing Urban Construction's "ice breaking move" in the Philippine market. As a key component of the Philippine government's "Build Better, Build More" plan, this project aims to improve the road network around the lake, alleviate traffic pressure in the capital region, and promote regional economic development. The successful signing of this series of major overseas projects is a vivid practice for Chinese enterprises to deepen their efforts in the international market and actively implement the "the Belt and Road" initiative. It not only reflects the international recognition of Chinese standards, technologies, and equipment, but also brings tangible development benefits to the country where the project is located through the construction of high-quality projects that benefit people's livelihoods. It effectively promotes the interconnection of infrastructure and sustainable economic and social development of the jointly built country, and jointly paints a new picture of cooperation and win-win outcomes.
