On November 5, 2025, the renovation project of Jiagedaqi Station, the northernmost first-class station in China, was officially launched, designed by China Railway Fifth Institute and constructed by China Railway Construction Corporation. At the same time, the project innovatively optimizes traditional concrete cast-in-place piles into prefabricated concrete pipe piles, which are manufactured in the factory and quickly installed on site. This not only effectively solves the industry problems of concrete pouring and maintenance in high-altitude environments, but also improves the efficiency of foundation construction by about 40%, and is expected to save nearly two months of construction time.
