Recently, China's energy storage industry has achieved important results in international development - Hithium Energy announced that it has officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with El Mor Renewable Energy, a leading renewable energy EPC general contractor in Israel. The two sides will jointly promote the construction of a long-term energy storage system project with a total scale of 300MW/1.5GWh in Israel. This cooperation is not only Hithium Energy's first landmark project in the field of long-term energy storage overseas, but also a key step for Chinese energy storage companies to deeply participate in the energy transformation in the Middle East.

Against the backdrop of accelerating global energy structure cleanliness, Israel is actively promoting the construction of a renewable energy system to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels. With the rapid increase in installed capacity of new energy such as photovoltaics, the demand for long-term and large-scale energy storage systems in the power grid is becoming increasingly urgent. Long term energy storage can store surplus electricity during peak periods of new energy generation and maintain stable output during off peak periods, becoming a core technology to support the integration of high proportion renewable energy into the grid and ensure the safe operation of the power grid.

According to the agreement, El Mor will be responsible for the design, procurement, and construction of multiple energy storage projects. The 1GWh integrated photovoltaic storage project located in RAMAT BEKA will become the largest of its kind in the region after completion, setting a new benchmark for Israel to build a flexible and reliable modern power grid system.

Hithium Energy will provide its independently developed ∞ Power 6.25MWh 4-hour long-term energy storage system in this collaboration. As an important component of its energy equipment kit, this system innovatively integrates battery containers, converter systems, medium voltage transformers, switchgear, and energy management systems into a unified platform, achieving comprehensive coverage in multiple dimensions such as energy power selection, grid coordination, system protection, and fire safety, providing a high standard one-stop solution for the project.
