Recently, CNEEC signed a complete equipment procurement cooperation agreement with globally renowned waste to energy technology supplier CNIM MARTIN for a waste to energy project in Vietnam. According to the agreement, CNEEC will serve as the general contractor for the project, marking a new breakthrough for Chinese enterprises in the clean energy sector in Southeast Asia.

This cooperation is an important achievement of CNEEC's international layout in the field of waste to energy generation. The company has achieved new customer development in Vietnam, a new country market, and demonstrated its comprehensive strength in the international waste to energy engineering field by leveraging its successful experience accumulated in the Lepi waste to energy project in Ethiopia, the Palembang waste to energy project in Indonesia, and the world's first high-temperature and ultra-high pressure belt reheating waste to energy project in Thailand.

Kom Martin GmbH, a joint venture between France's CNIM S.A. and Germany's MARTIN GmbH, was founded in 2017 and is a leading global supplier of waste to energy technology and equipment. The company focuses on providing advanced and reliable solutions for urban solid waste treatment, and its technology has been successfully applied in multiple waste to energy projects worldwide. This strong alliance between Chinese and European enterprises will fully leverage their respective advantages in engineering design, equipment supply, project construction, and other aspects.

Vietnam, as a rapidly developing emerging market, is facing increasingly severe pressure on urban solid waste treatment.
