Recently, Huadian Energy officially announced a heavy investment plan, intending to spend 6.083 billion yuan to promote the construction of a 1.4GW wind power project. This move not only demonstrates the firm determination of the enterprise to deeply cultivate the clean energy track, but also injects strong impetus into the transformation of regional energy structure.

It is reported that the planned layout of the wind power project focuses on areas with abundant wind and solar resources, using advanced low wind speed adaptive wind turbines that balance power generation efficiency and ecological compatibility. After the project is completed, it is expected that the annual grid connected electricity will reach more than 3 billion kilowatt hours. By replacing traditional fossil fuel power generation, carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by over 2.5 million tons per year, equivalent to nearly 7000 hectares of afforestation. While helping to achieve the "dual carbon" goal, it will also effectively increase the proportion of green power supply in the regional power system and enhance energy supply stability.

At the specific level of project promotion, Huadian Energy has established a professional project management team and built a full cycle closed-loop management system of "pre preparation construction operation and maintenance services". It synchronously links upstream and downstream enterprises such as wind turbine manufacturing, engineering construction, and technical consulting to establish collaborative working groups to ensure seamless connection between equipment supply, construction progress, and quality control. In response to the key links involved in the project, such as terrain survey, power grid connection, and ecological protection, the enterprise has collaborated with scientific research institutions to conduct a special demonstration. The plan is to adopt measures such as optimizing the design of wind turbine foundations and ecological restoration of construction areas to minimize the impact of project construction on the surrounding ecological environment and achieve the coordinated promotion of wind power development and ecological protection.

From the perspective of industry value, the implementation of this 1.4GW wind power project is not only an important increment in the installed capacity of Huadian Energy's clean energy, but also a practical sample for the large-scale development of China's wind power industry.
