In a conference room in Lanzhou, hundreds of kilometers away, a war without gunpowder is fiercely unfolding - the procurement of 1.8 million kilowatt wind turbines in Duqingshan, Gansu has officially opened for bidding. CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, Goldwind Technology, Mingyang Intelligent, Dongfang Wind Power, Yunda Co., Ltd., CRRC Shandong Wind Power, Yuanjing Energy, Electric Wind Power, Sany Heavy Energy, all domestic wind power manufacturers that can be called top-notch have arrived. This formation is known in the industry as the 'immortal fight'.

7.38 billion large order

The project is located in Hexi New Energy Base in Tengger Desert, with a total installed capacity of 1.8 million kilowatts and a total investment of about 7.38 billion yuan. Plan to install 234 6.25MW and 45 7.5MW wind turbines, along with supporting box transformers, collection lines, and maintenance roads. The bidding is divided into three sections: Section I requires a mix of 6.25MW and 7.XMW for 600MW, with a total quantity not exceeding 87 units; All 500MW units in Section II will be equipped with 6.25MW units, requiring 80 units; The 700MW of Section III is also 6.25MW, with 112 wind turbines installed. The wheel hub height of the 7. XMW model can exceed 30 floors, and the blade sweeping area exceeds four football fields.

high technical barrier

Those who can participate in this competition are industry giants holding the "diamond". The bidding conditions are clear: bidders must have a single machine of 6.25MW or more and a cumulative onshore operation performance of not less than 500MW; For bidding on the 7. XMW section, a performance support of at least 200MW of the same model is also required. This is a re bidding of the project, from the first online listing in January to the synchronous opening of the three sections on March 9th, the pace has significantly accelerated, showing the urgent mentality of the owner to promote the project. Rising Energy Base in the Deep Gobi Desert

The full name of the project is "Duqingshan 1.8 MW Wind Power Project in Minqin County, Wuwei City, Hexi New Energy Base, Tengger Desert, Gansu Province". The owner is Gansu Minqin Longdian to Zhejiang Duqingshan Energy Co., Ltd., behind which stands Zhejiang Energy Group. This is an important supporting power source point for the "Long Power into Zhejiang" ultra-high voltage channel - clean energy from Gansu will be directly transmitted to Zhejiang through this major artery, which will not only alleviate the electricity shortage in the east but also drive the economic development in the west. At present, the access road has been awarded and delivered by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, and the EPC bidding is advancing simultaneously. After the wind turbine procurement is confirmed, more than 200 large windmills will grow on this Gobi Desert, adding another hard core support to the new energy province of Gansu.Editor/Gao Xue
