Wind, solar and green power direct supply computing power

According to the public announcement, the second phase of the Zhongwei Big Data Computing Industry Green Power Park project has a total supporting new energy scale of up to 2.6 million kilowatts, including 600000 kilowatts of photovoltaic projects and 2 million kilowatts of wind power projects. This is a key project in Ningxia to implement the "dual carbon" goal and promote the deep integration of characteristic advantageous industries and clean energy. It aims to provide large-scale, low-cost, and zero carbon green power guarantee for the local data center industry cluster, and build a closed-loop ecology of "green energy production big data computing power consumption".

Expert evaluation scores first

To ensure fairness and impartiality in the selection process, the Development and Reform Commission of Zhongwei City has entrusted the Water Resources Planning and Design Institute as an independent third-party evaluation agency, with full supervision from the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision. After comprehensive evaluation by the expert group, the proposal submitted by China Datang Group New Energy Co., Ltd. demonstrated the best competitiveness in terms of technology, economy, construction, and integration with the computing industry, and successfully won with the first place in expert ratings. The public announcement period is from March 11th to 13th, 2026. If there are no objections, Datang New Energy will officially shoulder the responsibility of project investment, construction, and operation.
