Recently, China Power Construction Sunshine Procurement Network officially announced the winning bid for the 150MW wind power project in Bagonegros, Philippines. Envision Energy Technology PTE. LTD. has successfully broken through with mature technical solutions and full industry chain advantages, and will provide onshore wind turbines with a single capacity of 6.XMW for the project, marking another important breakthrough for China's wind power core equipment in the Southeast Asian market.
As a key project in the Philippines' clean energy transition strategy, the 150MW wind power project landing on Negros Island not only meets the practical needs of filling the local energy gap, but also responds to the Philippine government's 2024 Green Energy Incentive Act, which provides support through tariff reductions, land leasing incentives, and low interest loans, creating a favorable environment for the landing of new energy projects. The 6.XMW model provided by Far East Energy belongs to the mainstream high-power configuration of international onshore wind power. Combined with self-developed split tower technology and core control algorithms, it not only solves the problems of road and tunnel passage in island transportation, but also improves power generation efficiency through a design that reduces weight by 100 tons. The annual power generation hours can be increased by 1000 hours, and 24-hour rapid lifting can be achieved, perfectly adapting to local construction scenarios and energy needs in the Philippines. The winning bid for the project is 513 million yuan (equivalent to 3420 yuan/kW), highlighting the comprehensive competitiveness of Chinese wind power equipment in terms of full lifecycle cost.

This cooperation is not accidental, but a concentrated reflection of the maturity of China's wind power industry chain technology and international market recognition. Yuanjing Energy insists on self-developed and self-made core components of wind turbines. Its key components such as gearboxes and main bearings have been applied on a large scale in 12 countries around the world. The main bearings have increased the market share of Chinese brands from 10% to 70%, and the zero failure operation record provides reliable guarantees for overseas projects. As the enterprise with the largest wind turbine order volume in the world, Vision has set up operation headquarters and R&D centers in more than 20 countries, including Germany, Australia and Vietnam. Overseas orders have accounted for 60% of the overseas orders of Chinese wind turbine enterprises for three consecutive years. From the first centralized wind power project in Bangladesh to the largest mountain wind power project in Laos and Southeast Asia, it continues to help the energy transformation of countries along the "the Belt and Road" with technology output.

The winning bid for the 150MW project in the Philippines is not only an important expansion of Far East Energy's overseas business, but also sets a new benchmark for China's wind power integration of "technology+products+services" going global. With the continuous deepening of China's wind power industry chain in areas such as high-power models, independent core components, and scenario based solutions, more and more enterprises like Far East are leveraging technological innovation and cost advantages to emerge in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East, injecting "Chinese power" into the global energy transformation. In the future, with the continuous improvement of the overseas service system, China's wind power is expected to achieve an upgrade from equipment output to the coordinated development of the entire industry chain, occupying a more central position in the global clean energy revolution.Editor/Bian Wenjun
