Recently, Chinese companies have made great strides in the international engineering market and have successively won important orders in Southeast Asia and Africa. From the upgrading of transportation arteries in Laos, to the strengthening of port hubs in the Philippines, and to the resolution of water resource challenges in Zimbabwe, China's infrastructure is expanding globally with "Chinese speed" and "Chinese quality". This series of projects covering land, sea, and people's livelihood fields not only demonstrates the full chain strength of Chinese enterprises from "construction and construction" to "technological empowerment", but also outlines a new vision of "going global" with joint construction, sharing, and mutual benefit.
AVIC International signs Laos highway project to help upgrade regional transportation
Recently, the government of Bolikhamxay Province in Laos, together with a consortium consisting of PSL Full Cycle Construction Co., Ltd. and China Aviation Technology International Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as AVIC International), successfully held a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding on Survey and Design of the Phase II Restoration and Upgrading Project of National Highway 21. This move marks the official entry of the project into the preliminary preparation stage.

It is reported that this cooperation aims to initiate the survey and design work of two key sections: the second phase of National Highway 21: from the foot of Pengmengkun Village in Bolikan County to Daxi Village (25 kilometers to 81 kilometers), with a total length of 56 kilometers. The connecting section of National Highway 1D: from the three-way intersection of Taxi Village on National Highway 21 to the border of Saisongben Province (145-146 kilometers), with a total length of 1.10 kilometers.
The signing of the memorandum laid a solid foundation for the subsequent road repair, upgrade, and maintenance projects. After the completion of this project, it will greatly improve the transportation conditions in Bolikhamxay Province and surrounding areas, unblock logistics bottlenecks, promote local socio-economic development, and be an important part of Laos' efforts to improve its domestic road network.
Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry signs contract for BIPI port project in the Philippines, deepening cooperation in the port field
Recently, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Group (ZPMC) held working talks with International Container Terminal Services (ICTSI Group) and successfully signed a cooperation agreement for the BIPI terminal project in the Philippines.

According to the agreement, Zhenhua Heavy Industry will provide advanced port equipment and related services for ICTSI Group's BIPI terminal. Both sides expressed that this cooperation will further strengthen their complementary advantages and is a key step in deepening strategic cooperation in various fields such as port construction and operation. The ultimate goal is to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development by improving the cooperation mechanism and enhancing the level of cooperation.
The signing of this cooperation agreement not only reflects Zhenhua Heavy Industry's leading position in the global port machinery market, which has once again been recognized by top international operators, but also indicates that high-end equipment made in China will directly participate in and assist the construction of modern port infrastructure in the Philippines, improving the operational efficiency of its logistics hub.
Shuifa Group wins bid for Zimbabwe water project, using core technology to solve water problems
Recently, good news came from Shuifa Group that its subsidiary Shuifa High Tech's ownership company, Ogilvy Environment, has successfully won the bid for the desalination water system project of Wanjin Jiye's raw water system in Zimbabwe.
This project directly addresses the core pain points of local industrial water use in Zimbabwe: high hardness of raw water and complex composition of pollutants. In response to this challenge, Ogilvy Environment fully leveraged its technological advantages and tailored solutions for customers. The water treatment system equipment signed this time will be equipped with advanced reverse osmosis membrane technology independently developed by Ogilvy Environment, which has a salt removal rate of up to 99.2% and excellent treatment efficiency.

This system will be applied to the water resource recycling project in local industrial parks. After the project is put into operation, it can efficiently purify water quality and significantly improve the recycling rate of water resources, thereby fundamentally alleviating the shortage of industrial water in the region and injecting sustainable green energy into Zimbabwe's regional industrial development. Keywords: the Belt and Road, the Belt and Road project news
The successful implementation of this series of projects marks that China's infrastructure is sailing towards a broader blue ocean. It is no longer a single product or service output, but a comprehensive value creation that covers survey and design, high-end equipment, core technology, and long-term cooperation. The blueprint drawn by AVIC International is not only a road map, but also a development pathway; Zhenhua Heavy Industry is not only building port machinery, but also a trade bridge; Shuifa Group not only solves water quality problems, but also industrial bottlenecks. In the future, with the deep integration of Chinese intelligent manufacturing and global demand, this "Chinese business card" forged with strength and sincerity will surely leave a solid footprint in more corners of the world.Editor/Cheng Liting
