Recently, High Energy Environment Holdings' subsidiary, Beida Nianfu Cleaning Joint Venture, officially received the bid notification from the Yamu Township Administrative Office in Beida Nianfu, Thailand, and successfully won the bid for the "Yamu Township Administrative Office (Yaling County, Beida Nianfu) Community Household Waste Incineration Power Generation Project". This breakthrough marks the first successful overseas expansion of high-energy environment in the field of household waste incineration power generation, becoming another example of China's successful environmental protection technology going global.

The project is located in Yaling County, Pattani Province, southern Thailand, and will be implemented by High Energy Environment through a local joint venture in which it holds 80% of the shares. The project adopts advanced grate type household waste incineration technology, with a designed daily processing capacity of 500 tons, an installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts, and a sales capacity of 9 megawatts. To ensure environmental compliance, the project will be equipped with an efficient pollution control system simultaneously. The project cooperation period is 25 years, and the total investment is expected to not exceed 1.95 billion Thai baht (approximately 427 million yuan). It is the first overseas waste incineration power generation project won by High Energy Environment since promoting the "going global" strategy.

The implementation of this project is timely. Thailand is facing increasingly severe pressure in the disposal of household waste. Traditional landfill methods not only occupy a large amount of land, but also pose potential environmental pollution risks. In this context, waste incineration power generation has become an important choice for Thailand to promote sustainable waste management and energy transformation. For high-energy environments, this successful bid is not only an international recognition of their technological strength and engineering capabilities, but also a crucial step in the company's globalization strategy.

It is worth mentioning that the project adopts a localized cooperation model, by controlling joint ventures, which not only leverages the advantages of Chinese enterprises in technology, funding, and management, but also fully utilizes the market experience and implementation capabilities of local teams. This cooperation model can not only provide long-term and reliable garbage disposal solutions for the local area, but also create employment opportunities, increase tax revenue, and achieve a win-win situation of environmental and economic benefits. The implementation of the project is a vivid manifestation of Chinese environmental protection enterprises' active exploration of the international market under the "the Belt and Road" initiative. It shows China's technological strength in the field of environmental protection, and also provides a reference program for the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" countries to solve environmental problems. With the advancement of the project, it will further consolidate the cooperation between China and Thailand in the field of environmental protection, injecting new impetus into local sustainable development.Editor/Cheng Liting
