Recently, Gia Lai Province in Vietnam officially approved the investment plan for the Renzhou Phase I wind power project. This large-scale wind power project with an installed capacity of 750 megawatts is located in Fumei County and Fuji County, with a total investment of over 48.372 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately 48.372 billion yuan). The project is planned to use 32 hectares of sea area and 17.6 hectares of land, and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the fourth quarter of 2029 at the latest.
According to the project plan, after completion, the project will be able to deliver approximately 2.8 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity to Vietnam's national power grid annually, effectively alleviating the current power supply shortage and significantly increasing the proportion of renewable energy in Vietnam's energy structure. The project will construct a 220 kV double circuit transmission line, which will be connected to the Fumei 220 kV substation and the Renhui 220 kV substation respectively.

The government of Jialai Province has put forward strict requirements for project implementation, emphasizing that it must comply with various plans such as national marine spatial planning and coastal resource protection. The project site selection is limited to approved areas and requires completion of all relevant procedures such as land, environment, forestry, national defense security, etc. before construction begins. Special requirements: The project must not affect the livelihoods of local fishermen, shipping safety, aquaculture, and marine ecological environment.
