Recently, Chinese energy storage companies have achieved significant breakthroughs in the European market. Beijing Haibosichuang Technology Co., Ltd.'s German subsidiary and German energy company LEAG Clean Energy Co., Ltd. have officially signed an agreement to jointly build the "GigaBattery Boxberg 400" large-scale energy storage project with a scale of 1.6GWh. This project is a key component of LEAG's strategic plan for the "Jiwa Factory". It is reported that the Boxberg project will adopt Haibosichuang's mature 4-hour energy storage system solution, which is based on its HyperBlock III product validated in multiple global projects. This solution integrates liquid cooling technology, intelligent energy management system, and comprehensive safety design, with excellent environmental adaptability to meet the stringent requirements of European grid level energy storage.
Haibosichuang's business layout in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) has given it a market advantage. The company has established its headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany for the EMEA region and has deployed over 45GWh of energy storage systems in more than 400 projects worldwide. In this cooperation, Haibosichuang will provide a full chain "turnkey" service covering project design, core equipment supply, commissioning and grid connection, and long-term operation support, demonstrating the full industry chain service capabilities of Chinese enterprises in the energy storage field.
The achievement of this cooperation is highly in line with the energy strategy of the German government. Germany has identified energy storage systems as a strategic core for building safe, economical, and sustainable power systems, providing a favorable policy environment for large-scale energy storage projects.
