This project, located in the province of Huelva in the autonomous region of Andalusia, Spain, is jointly invested and constructed by Spain's Moeva company and Apical Group, a subsidiary of Singapore's Golden Eagle Group. The total investment amount is about 1.2 billion euros, making it one of the largest and most technologically advanced biofuel projects in Spain this year.

As an important participant in the project, China Chemical Engineering 13th Chemical Construction will undertake the mechanical and electrical installation work for sections BR3 and BR4. Xiao Yafei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Tongfu, attended the ceremony and signed the contract on behalf of the company, reflecting China's high attention to this project. According to the agreement, China Tongfu will provide professional gamma irradiation equipment and provide a comprehensive solution for matching cobalt irradiation sources.

This project has been steadily advancing since the signing of the cooperation intention in June this year, and its significance is self-evident - it is the first time that China's irradiation technology has entered the Latin American market and has pioneering demonstration significance. After the completion of the project, it will mainly be applied to the irradiation treatment of Peru's characteristic agricultural products, improving the sterilization level of agricultural products and significantly extending the shelf life of products through advanced nuclear technology.
