Jakson Group of India recently held a grand groundbreaking ceremony in Maxi District, Ujain District, Madhya Pradesh, officially launching the construction of a photovoltaic integrated manufacturing base with a total production capacity of 6GW. This major project covering 113.5 acres has a total investment of over 80 billion rupees, setting a record for the largest solar manufacturing project in Madhya Pradesh. The first phase of the project will construct a 3GW battery production line and a 4GW component production line. In the subsequent stages, the production capacity of silicon ingots and wafers will be gradually integrated to achieve a complete industrial chain layout.
Government's strong support
The groundbreaking ceremony of the project was personally presided over by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. In his speech, he emphasized that the project is an important milestone in the industrial development of Madhya Pradesh and fully aligns with the Indian government's national vision of a "self reliant India". The Maxi region where the project is located will be developed into a core manufacturing and logistics hub for India's clean energy transition, expected to drive the formation of a complete photovoltaic manufacturing ecosystem in the surrounding areas.

The industry has a profound impact
The launch of this project has strategic significance for India's new energy industry. On the one hand, it will significantly enhance India's local photovoltaic manufacturing capacity and reduce its dependence on imported photovoltaic products; On the other hand, it will create a large number of employment opportunities through the development of the industrial chain, driving regional economic development. Industry experts point out that the implementation of this project will enhance India's position in the global photovoltaic industry chain and provide important support for the country to achieve its energy security goals.
Technological leadership positioning
Jakson Group stated that the project will adopt globally advanced production processes and strict quality management systems to ensure that the products have international competitiveness. At the same time, the project will fully implement environmental protection concepts in the design and construction process, and strive to create an industry model of green manufacturing. The advancement of this project marks a crucial step for India's development in the new energy manufacturing industry, and the first phase of the project is expected to be completed and put into operation within 2025.
