Recently, Hefei has received good news in the field of ecological environment governance, successfully winning the bid for the Changfeng County moat basin water environment comprehensive management and green industry enhancement ecological environment oriented development (EOD) project. This winning bid not only demonstrates Hefei's comprehensive strength in the field of ecological engineering construction, but also opens a new chapter in the coordinated development of regional ecological protection and green industry, providing solid support for practicing the concept of ecological priority and green development.

It is reported that the EOD project focuses on improving the ecological environment of the moat basin, and constructs a comprehensive development system of "water environment governance ecological restoration industrial empowerment". The project will focus on implementing ecological dredging of river channels, centralized sewage treatment, and construction of riverbank ecological buffer zones, comprehensively improving the water quality compliance rate and water resource carrying capacity of the basin; Simultaneously promote the construction of ecological facilities such as waterfront ecological parks and green trails, and create a green space that integrates ecological protection and leisure tourism. At the level of industrial integration, the project will deeply explore the ecological advantages of the watershed, cultivate and strengthen characteristic industries such as ecological agriculture, green cultural tourism, and environmental protection technology, and promote the transformation of ecological benefits into tangible economic and social benefits.

From the perspective of industry value, this project is a typical implementation case of the national EOD model in county-level watershed governance, which is in line with the dual deployment of the current "dual carbon" strategy and rural revitalization strategy, and provides a practical sample for similar projects in Anhui Province and even the Yangtze River Delta region. At the commercial level, the project adopts a closed-loop operation model of "ecology+industry" to attract upstream and downstream resources in the industrial chain, drive the increase of local employment opportunities and optimize the economic structure, and inject lasting momentum into the high-quality development of Changfeng County.
