On November 30, 2025, a China Europe freight train loaded with automotive and motorcycle parts, daily necessities, and other goods sounded its horn and departed from Chongqing Tuanjie Village Central Station, marking the official opening of the China Europe freight train route from Chongqing to Budapest, Hungary. This line is one of the fourth batch of full timetable lines released by China Railway Group Co., Ltd., and it is also the second high standard train line of its kind approved in Chongqing after the Chongqing Duisburg line in Germany.

It has fixed train numbers, operating routes, schedules, and precise operating schedules, and strictly controls key links such as port replacement and handover. According to the operator, in the initial stage of operation, the train is planned to run once every two weeks, and its total transportation time is expected to be reduced by about 30% compared to ordinary China Europe trains. It only takes about 11 days to arrive in Budapest. The train will exit through the Alashankou Port in Xinjiang, passing through countries such as Kazakhstan, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc. It not only serves bilateral trade between China and Hungary, but also effectively radiates to markets in Central and Eastern Europe such as Slovakia, Austria, and Serbia.
