The initiation of the bidding process signifies that the project has officially entered the preliminary design phase, laying a solid foundation for construction to begin in 2026.

Constructing a new regional railway loop

The completion of the Miansui Neijiang Railway will form an important horizontal railway channel in the central Sichuan region and intersect with multiple vertical railway lines, building a more complete railway network.

From the perspective of macro road network layout, the Miansui Neijiang Railway is a component of the Mianlu High speed Railway.
