In 2025, the United Arab Emirates achieved a high score of 85.2 in the Numbeo Security Index and was named the safest country in the world, consolidating its reputation for social stability and a high-quality living environment. In the IMD World Competitiveness Rankings, the country entered the top five globally with a score of 96.09, maintaining a leading position in the Middle East for the ninth consecutive year.

The national brand value continues to rise

A stable security environment has always been one of the labels of the United Arab Emirates. Its capital Abu Dhabi has been rated as the "safest city in the world" by Numbeo for the ninth consecutive year. The secure and stable social foundation also provides support for the enhancement of the country's soft power and brand value. In the Global Soft Power Index released in London, the United Arab Emirates ranks tenth globally, with its national brand value soaring to $122.3 trillion. This achievement is a direct reflection of the UAE's national image and international influence, which has earned it more attention and respect on the global stage.

Digital Leadership and Entrepreneurial Ecology

The digital government construction in the United Arab Emirates has achieved significant results, ranking first globally in multiple areas of the Digital Transformation Status Report, including telecommunications infrastructure, digital government framework, and digital content. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates is at the forefront of the government's AI readiness index and ranks fourth in the World Bank's government technology maturity index.

In terms of entrepreneurial ecology, the country has ranked first for the fourth consecutive year in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report and has been evaluated as one of the "most suitable countries for entrepreneurship and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises". In this country with a strong entrepreneurial atmosphere, about 67% of adults know entrepreneurs or believe they have the necessary skills to start a business, and 70% of Emirati see great opportunities to start a business locally. The country has also invested up to 8.7 billion US dollars to promote innovation and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Talent and Investment Attraction

The talent environment in the United Arab Emirates continues to improve, and in the IMD World Talent Rankings, it has jumped eight places from the previous year to ninth globally, mainly due to its outstanding performance in labor readiness and international attractiveness. The United Arab Emirates has also made significant progress in its Human Development Index, rising 11 places to 15th globally, becoming the only Arab country to enter the top 20 globally.

In terms of attracting investment, according to data from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the inflow of foreign direct investment into the United Arab Emirates reached 167.6 billion UAE dirhams (approximately 45.6 billion US dollars) in 2024, ranking tenth globally. According to investment data, the United Arab Emirates ranks second in the world in terms of the number of new foreign direct investment projects, second only to the United States.

The United Arab Emirates has announced plans to build a data center called "Stargate" in Abu Dhabi, with the goal of establishing an AI factory with a production capacity of 60 trillion AI tokens.
