Another major transportation project in Ganzhou City has made breakthrough progress. On December 30th, the bidding results for the G3512 Xunwu Ganzhou Expressway Anyuan Ganzhou section franchise project were officially announced, marking that this highway project with a total investment of approximately 13.981 billion yuan is about to move from blueprint to reality.

This project is approved by the People's Government of Ganzhou City and implemented through a franchise model. The municipal government has authorized the Municipal Transportation Bureau as the project implementation agency and tenderer, and the specific bidding work is the responsibility of the Municipal Transportation Comprehensive Service Center. At present, all preliminary work for the project has been completed, including the feasibility study report passing industry review, the franchise plan being approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the provincial government, clearing obstacles for the smooth progress of the project.

The total length of the project route is 89.45 kilometers, including a new section of 84.00 kilometers, constructed according to the standard of a two-way four lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour; The expansion section is 5.45 kilometers long and adopts a two-way eight lane standard. The total investment estimate for the project is approximately 13.981 billion yuan, subject to government approval documents.

The core of this bidding is to determine the project investors, and the winning bidder will be responsible for the entire process of project investment and financing, survey and design, construction, operation management, and handover.

In the end, a consortium led by Jiangxi Provincial Transportation Investment Group Co., Ltd. and composed of several well-known transportation construction enterprises in the province successfully won the bid. According to the plan, the basic fee period for the project is 356 months, with an expected extension of 68 months.

The implementation of this project will further improve the layout of the expressway network in Ganzhou City, enhance the accessibility and convenience of regional transportation.
