The 'Dream Road' to Change People's Lives

Standing on the construction site in Golubaz, Vucic described the tremendous changes that this expressway will bring: "This is something that was unimaginable in the past." The Danube Corridor Expressway connects Pozharevac Grand Gradishtai Golubaz, with a total length of about 68 kilometers, four lanes in both directions, and a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour. Currently, 31.85 kilometers of road have been opened to traffic.

After the full completion of the project, the travel time from the capital Belgrade to the northeastern city of Golubac will be significantly reduced, the traffic bottleneck will be broken, and the economic network in the eastern region will be connected accordingly. Wu Qiqi stated that this is not only an upgrade of transportation infrastructure, but also a strong driving force for regional development.
