Recently, Qiao Xubin, Deputy Secretary of the CEEC Party Committee and General Manager, went to Malaysia to carry out a series of business activities, emphasizing the need to seize opportunities for energy transformation and development, deepen practical cooperation in the energy and power fields between China and Malaysia, efficiently promote the landing of key tracking projects, and promote the deepening and rolling development of the Southeast Asian market.

On January 26th, Qiao Xubin paid a visit to Sun Shuqiang, a counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur. Sun Shuqiang expressed the hope that CEEC will seize the opportunity of energy transformation and development, based on local actual needs, take differentiated energy solutions as the starting point, increase investment in resources in Malaysia, extensively and deeply participate in investment and construction in multiple fields of energy and electricity, and help Malaysia's energy transformation. Qiao Xubin stated that during the 15th Five Year Plan period, CEEC will adhere to a high-quality development orientation, deeply cultivate and refine the Malaysian energy and electricity market, deepen practical cooperation with local parties, and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of business operations in Malaysia. I hope the embassy will continue to increase guidance and support for CEEC's business in Malaysia.

During this period, Qiao Xubin held talks with Dato 'Mergat Jalaluddin bin Megat Hassan, President and CEO of the National Energy Company (TNB) of Malaysia, and Dato' Nazri, Senior Chief Strategy and Sustainable Development Officer. Qiao Xubin stated that CEEC has the advantage of integrated investment, construction, and operation, with rich experience and obvious technological advantages in areas such as power grid planning, compressed air energy storage, and nuclear power. We hope that both sides can strengthen cooperation and exchanges, innovate cooperation mechanisms, focus on key areas such as gas turbines and new energy, and work together to create a benchmark project for China Malaysia cooperation.

During his stay in Malaysia, Qiao Xubin also held talks with Yeoh Keong Yuan, Executive President of YTL Construction Company, and Zhong Xianjue, Chairman of CGN Edra.
