In the depths of the tropical rainforest in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, an important signing ceremony is being held regarding the strategic layout of Chinese companies in the overseas mining industry. Recently, the Indonesian CITEC Engineering Company of Tianjin Cement Research Institute Equipment Group successfully signed the MAS bauxite mining and transportation service contract with local partners, which is not only an important achievement of Sinoma International's "15th Five Year Plan" strategy, but also a key step for Chinese enterprises in the mining service field of countries along the "the Belt and Road".

Project scale and strategic significance

The MAS project has an annual mining scale of 3 million tons and an initial service period of five years, which is an important achievement for China National Materials International to create the "second curve". This project is located in the West Kalimantan region of Indonesia and has abundant bauxite resources, which is of great significance for ensuring the supply of raw materials for China's aluminum industry. As the first large-scale overseas mining service project since the establishment of the mining team, the successful signing of the MAS project has achieved an important leap from strategic planning to project implementation, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent large-scale development of Sinoma International in the overseas mining market.

The synergistic effect of the industrial chain is significant

During the signing ceremony, CITEC also signed cooperation agreements for bauxite and coal supply with partners such as Nanshan Aluminum International, China National Building Materials International Trade, and PT MAS. The signing of this series of agreements not only further consolidates Sinoma International's position in the Indonesian market, but also enhances the collaborative relationship between the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. By integrating mining, transportation, trade and other links, a complete industrial chain has been formed, enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of Chinese enterprises in the international mining market.

Overseas layout and future development

The successful signing of the MAS project marks a substantial step forward for China National Materials International in the field of overseas mining services. The project not only helps ease the shortage of bauxite resources in China, but also provides replicable experience for Chinese enterprises to carry out mining cooperation in countries along the "the Belt and Road". In the future, Sinoma International will continue to deepen cooperation with resource rich countries such as Indonesia, promote the landing of more high-quality projects, and contribute wisdom and strength to Chinese enterprises' participation in global mining governance.Editor/Yang Meiling
