Oleg Belov, a senior journalist from Kazakhstan, has traveled to many countries around the world, but after visiting Kashgar, Xinjiang, China, he admitted, "These are my happiest three days." With more than 20 years of experience, he has witnessed the tremendous changes in Kashgar over the past eight years - from a once economically underdeveloped area to a modern city with high-rise buildings, complete community functions, and thriving medical and economic development.

He paid special attention to the local community services, convenient living facilities and rich cultural activities that benefit the elderly and children, and personally experienced the charm of acupuncture and moxibustion in traditional Chinese medicine. As a witness and participant of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, Belov is deeply aware of the fruitful results of Kazakhstan China cooperation and is willing to pass on the true, friendly and developing Xinjiang story to further promote the friendship and cooperation along the Silk Road.Editor/Yang Meiling
