This meeting was held during the official welcoming ceremony for the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi by the Chinese Premier of the State Council, as part of his official visit to the People's Republic of China.

At the beginning of the talks, Li Qiang welcomed His Highness Sheikh Khalid and his accompanying delegation, and wished the visit a success and further promoted bilateral cooperation.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid expressed gratitude for the warm reception and generous hospitality received. His Highness Sheikh Khalid reiterated the UAE's commitment to further strengthening its comprehensive strategic partnership with China and promoting cooperation in priority areas, particularly in the economic and development sectors, to serve common interests and support sustainable development between the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid emphasized the need to move towards a more integrated stage of cooperation based on the solid foundation of the long-term relationship between the two countries, focusing on investing in future opportunities and enhancing supply chain resilience, thereby strengthening the role of the two countries as key partners in the global economy.

The talks also explored ways to expand cooperation in multiple priority areas to support the development priorities of the two countries and align with the constantly changing global economic trends.

Both sides emphasized the importance of the China UAE Business Promotion Conference held concurrently with the visit. The conference brings together business leaders and investors from both countries to explore opportunities in areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure, technology, and industrial development. This is in line with the growing scale of non oil trade between the two countries, which is expected to reach approximately 111 billion US dollars by 2025.

The talks also discussed the regional and international situation, emphasizing the importance of promoting stability, strengthening international coordination to address common challenges, and supporting the peaceful resolution of conflicts to maintain global peace and security.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Li Qiang witnessed the signing of multiple memorandums of understanding to further strengthen the Arab Chinese partnership and expand cooperation in multiple priority areas, including clean energy, investment, sustainable agriculture, environmental sustainability, health science, and advanced technology, with a focus on promoting knowledge exchange and joint research projects.

Li Qiang also held a banquet for the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and his accompanying delegation, which reflects the close relationship between the two countries. The banquet was attended by members of the UAE official delegation, as well as Chinese ministerial level officials, senior officials, and important figures. This event provides an opportunity for both sides to have friendly exchanges and further explore ways of bilateral cooperation.
