The giant light storage in the desert

In the Mshayrif area of Abu Dhabi, a once barren desert is about to transform into one of the world's largest light storage bases. A photovoltaic installed capacity of 2.1 GWp is equivalent to reducing millions of tons of carbon emissions annually; A 7.75GWh energy storage system can continue to deliver clean electricity to the grid at night.

The project covers the full process design, procurement, and construction of civil engineering, booster stations, photovoltaic fields, and energy storage fields, with a construction period of only 21 months after the commencement order. This means that in less than two years, China Power Construction will erect a monument of green energy in this sea of sand.
