From the Shage Wilderness Base in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, to the plain wind power project in Leting, Hebei, and then to the mountainous wind farms in Henan and other places, Sany Heavy Energy and Dongfang Electric Wind Power have become the biggest winners of this round of centralized procurement. This procurement list with a scale of nearly 4 billion yuan not only demonstrates the strong development momentum of leading power generation groups, but also clearly reveals the current trend of large-scale and customized technology in onshore wind power.

Chifeng Base comes standard with 10 megawatts

Huaneng Chifeng Wengniute Banner and six other wind power projects have purchased a total of 1998MW wind turbines, divided into two sections of 600MW each. Both require the use of wind turbines with a single capacity of 10MW and an impeller diameter of 220 meters or more. Section 1 was awarded to Sany Heavy Energy with a bid amount of 762 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of approximately 1270 yuan per kilowatt; Section 2 was awarded to Dongfang Electric Wind Power for a total amount of 777 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of approximately 1295 yuan per kilowatt. Both sections belong to the 2 million kilowatt self built peak shaving capacity wind solar energy storage multi energy complementary integration and desert control base project of Huaneng Chifeng City. It is a typical Shage Desert large base project, and a single 10MW wind turbine has become a standard configuration in large-scale bases.

Multiple aircraft models in Hebei province are tailored to local conditions

Among the 18 wind power projects including Huaneng Hebei Leting announced at the same time, with a total of 1897.15 MW wind turbine procurement results, Dongfang Electric Wind Power became the biggest winner. The bid amount for Section 2 of 823.4MW is 1.365 billion yuan, and the model combination includes 8.5MW and 10MW large capacity models, which are used in plain or hilly projects. The winning bid amount for Section 3 of 317.5MW is 517 million yuan, mainly using 6.25MW models and explicitly requiring the use of hybrid towers for specific project locations.
