Project Overview

The project is located in Jiji Lake Chemical Industry Park, Zhundong Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xinjiang. The overall design scale is a nominal capacity of 2.019 billion cubic meters per year of coal to natural gas, which is another major coal chemical project added to the Zhundong Energy and Chemical Base in Xinjiang. The so-called coal to natural gas is essentially the conversion of black gold coal into blue gold natural gas - through a series of chemical reactions, coal is processed into clean and environmentally friendly natural gas, which can not only activate the abundant coal resources in the local area, but also provide clean energy for downstream users, achieving a win-win situation. The Zhundong region has abundant coal reserves, and promoting on-site conversion and utilization of coal is a typical path for optimizing the energy industry structure in Xinjiang.

Project bidding and scale

The scope of this bidding is to construct a complete coal to natural gas project with an annual output of 2.019 billion cubic meters, which is equivalent to entrusting the entire industry chain from coal mining to gas production to the winning bidder in one go. The project covers a wide range of facilities, almost equivalent to a micro city level industrial complex: coal preparation unit, heating unit, air separation unit, gasification unit, gas water separation, phenol ammonia recovery, crude gas shift cooling, purification unit, methane synthesis unit, electrolysis water hydrogen production unit, carbon dioxide to methanol production unit; The supporting engineering is also complete and perfect: water supply and drainage equipment, finished product tank area, oil and gas recovery and loading and unloading station, 220kV main substation and multi-level power distribution system, plant wide flare system, external pipe gallery, water supply and drainage pipe network; In addition, it also includes two major supporting areas: the front area of the factory and the living area, achieving a balance between production and life.
