The 2026 Annual Meeting of the China Development Forum was recently held in Beijing, where representatives from the political, business, and academic circles at home and abroad gathered to conduct in-depth discussions on macro policies and high-quality development, new trends in consumption growth, global green and low-carbon transformation, and sustainable development. They shared insights on new directions for China's development during the 15th Five Year Plan period. Victoria Panova, Vice President of the Russian Higher University of Economics, participated in the China Development Forum for the first time. She believes that China has shown strong goal orientation and execution capabilities in the development process, and can effectively transform plans into results. This certainty is particularly important in the current international environment. She also pointed out that strengthening communication and cooperation around key issues can help all parties grasp direction and build consensus in complex situations.Editor/Yang Meiling
