At this seminar, the Chinese Optical Society officially released the "2026 China Laser Industry Development Report". The report shows that the sales revenue of China's laser equipment market will reach 95.8 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%, accounting for 58% globally. It is expected that the growth rate will remain at around 7% in 2026. Among them, AI drives the demand for data centers and high-speed communication, the increase in consumer grade laser products, and the acceleration of import substitution, becoming the three major driving forces for the growth of China's laser equipment market, bringing broad development opportunities to core material enterprises upstream of the industrial chain.

As one of the largest laser equipment manufacturing bases in China, Optics Valley has gathered more than 300 laser enterprises, and the scale of the optoelectronic information industry in the region has exceeded 650 billion yuan by 2025.
