Recently, Huawei and Egyptian AIS company officially signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation, and the two sides will work together to implement a localized production and manufacturing project for grid type battery energy storage systems in Egypt.

Currently, Egypt is continuously expanding its renewable energy generation capacity, and the market demand for large-scale energy storage equipment in the power grid is growing rapidly. The battery energy storage system is a core supporting facility for consuming new energy generation, ensuring the smooth operation of the power grid, and improving the overall operational efficiency of the power system. This cooperation will promote Egypt to achieve local independent production of grid connected energy storage equipment, relying on local production capacity to accurately match the continuously rising domestic energy demand.
