Recently, Jazz, a leading network communication service provider in Pakistan under Jazz World, collaborated with Huawei to complete the deployment of photovoltaic systems at 1000 communication sites nationwide. This project is a leading renewable energy project in the field of communication in Pakistan, with a total installed capacity of 13MW.

Assist in green and low-carbon development

This benchmark project helps Jazz build a green and stable digital infrastructure, effectively reducing dependence on traditional fossil fuels and accelerating Pakistan's transition to clean energy. In the future, Jazz will continue to expand the coverage of renewable energy in communication networks, adhere to the concept of green and sustainable operation, deeply cultivate long-term value construction, and help VEON Group achieve its 2050 carbon neutral development goal.

Double benefits and benefits for people's livelihood

After the photovoltaic transformation, these communication stations can produce about 11 GWh of green and clean electricity annually, with an annual carbon reduction of 15000 tons. In addition to its impressive ecological and environmental benefits, the project also significantly improves the stability of communication networks, especially in areas with power shortages, providing stable and reliable network connections for millions of local users.

Hardcore solution empowers upgrade

The project fully utilizes Huawei's integrated green site solution, integrating multiple technologies such as solar power generation, battery energy storage, and intelligent energy management to adapt to various operational scenarios and optimize equipment performance. Assist traditional communication stations in achieving low-carbon and efficient upgrades, comprehensively improving the energy utilization efficiency and power supply stability of the stations. JazzWorld CEO Aamir Ibrahim stated that digital infrastructure is the core support for Pakistan's digital economy development and must balance resilience and stability. The photovoltaic transformation of the entire network not only reduces ecological losses, but also optimizes the quality of communication services. This efficient cooperation with Huawei not only helps companies achieve sustainable development goals, but also injects strong momentum into Pakistan's energy green transformation.
