Recently, a trilateral tourism cooperation agreement spanning Central Asia and East Asia was officially signed. Uzimangiz Company in Kyrgyzstan and Wang Li from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce are tightly holding hands with their Turkish partners - the ancient trade route on the Silk Road is being re labeled as a cross-border tourism route.

Three party protocol locking area interconnection

The agreement was jointly signed by Sadikov, director of Bagty ý ar dostlar, Butsheva, director of Uchmanjiz in Kyrgyzstan, and Wang Li, representative of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The core content focuses on strengthening regional connectivity and developing new tourism routes connecting Central Asia and Europe. The three parties will integrate their respective regional tourism resources and market channels to jointly create cross-border tourism products covering Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and extending to China.

Cross border passenger flow verification cooperation potential

Turkmenistan is focusing on expanding regional tourism cooperation along the Silk Road. Data shows that in the first half of 2025, over 123000 Turkmen citizens have traveled to neighboring countries such as Uzbekistan for tourism, and the regional cross-border tourism flow continues to rise. The increase in personnel exchanges and tourism consumption demand among countries along the Silk Road has provided a solid market foundation for trilateral cooperation. From single point development to line linkage

This cooperation marks a substantial step forward for Central Asian cross-border tourism from single point development to cross-border route linkage. Bagty ý ar Dostlar will rely on Turkmenistan's tourism resources, while Kyrgyzstan and its Chinese partners will leverage their respective regional channels and market advantages to jointly develop and promote new cross-border tourism routes. A tourism corridor that runs through the heartland of Central Asia is gradually taking shape, from historical sites in Turkmenistan to high mountain lakes in Kyrgyzstan, and then extending to western China. This will not only help Turkmenistan expand its tourism industry and enhance its international influence, but also promote tourism connectivity between Central Asia and Europe, achieving mutual benefit and win-win among the three parties.Editor/Gao Xue
