Uztextileprom, the Uzbekistan Textile Industry Association, and Shaoxing Huangxi Intelligent Group from China have officially signed a cooperation agreement. The two sides will focus on the digital and modernization transformation of Uzbekistan's textile industry, deepen practical cooperation in the field of textile between China and Uzbekistan through technological collaboration and pilot projects, and help upgrade Uzbekistan's textile industry towards high added value.

Determine the cooperation path

Representatives from the Uzbekistan Textile Industry Association, Tashkent Textile and Light Industry Research Institute, and Shaoxing Huangxi Intelligent Group have conducted special negotiations to explore in depth the introduction of automation and digital solutions to improve production efficiency. The Chinese representative also visited MS Barer Textile enterprise on site to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the feasibility of technology implementation. According to the agreement signed this time, both parties will promote cooperation through experience sharing, technical discussions, and pilot projects, with the core goal of enhancing the overall technical level of Uzbekistan's textile enterprises.

The urgent need for textile transformation highlights the complementarity between China and Ukraine. As a traditional textile powerhouse, Uzbekistan is gradually shifting from exporting raw materials to producing high value-added finished products. Currently, 66 enterprises have established cooperative relationships with international brands. However, the low level of digitalization has hindered the improvement of production efficiency, and there is an urgent need for advanced technology to empower the industry. China has mature technology and rich experience in the field of textile digitization.
