As of midnight on May 19, 2026, China's first large-scale integrated energy base transmission project of "wind, solar, thermal and storage integration" - Longdian has entered Shandong, with a cumulative transmission of over 30 billion kilowatt hours to Shandong, reaching 30.08 billion kilowatt hours, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of about 8.6 million households. Among them, the proportion of new energy electricity exceeds 40%.
Since its commissioning on May 8, 2025, this project has continuously transmitted clean electricity from Gansu to Shandong, becoming an important link connecting the coordinated development of energy between the two provinces. Gansu is rich in scenic resources and is accelerating the construction of an important new energy and equipment manufacturing base in China. While meeting the electricity demand within the province, Gansu also uses this channel to transmit electricity to Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places, which not only broadens the channels for green electricity consumption, but also provides strong support for the national green and low-carbon transformation.Editor/Gao Xue
