At 11:00 am on June 5, 2026, the instrument air compressor of the 1 million tons/year coal to oil demonstration project of Yitai Yili Energy Co., Ltd. successfully completed a one-time test run. The equipment has stable parameters throughout its operation and all indicators meet the standards, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent debugging work of the air separation unit and the overall production and operation of the project.

Equipment status is crucial

The instrument air compressor is the core supporting equipment of the air separation unit, mainly providing clean process gas source for the instrument system of the whole plant. It is a key pre facility to ensure precise control of valves and stable operation of equipment interlocking in the whole plant, and plays an important role in the overall construction of the project. The successful trial run of this equipment marks a crucial progress in the construction of the air separation auxiliary supporting system.

During the entire process of project construction, the air separation unit strictly follows the enterprise's refined construction management standards to promote various construction tasks. The technical team collaborates efficiently with frontline construction personnel, with clear division of labor, and strictly follows standardized procedures to complete the equipment pre commissioning preparation work.

During the test drive process, on-site staff monitored the core data of the unit, such as temperature, pressure, and vibration, in real-time throughout the entire process, strictly operating in accordance with regulations and standards to ensure the successful completion of the test drive task.

The successful implementation of this test drive has also accumulated mature practical experience for subsequent unit debugging and system linkage testing. Next, the project team will strictly implement the overall construction deployment, continuously deepen refined management, strictly adhere to the three checkpoints of construction quality, safety production, and construction progress, and steadily promote project construction.

The project has a huge scale and volume

Yitai Yili Energy 1000000 t/a Coal to Liquid Demonstration Project is located in Yinan Industrial Park, Chabuchar Xibe Autonomous County, Xinjiang, with a total investment of about 21.043 billion yuan. It is expected to be officially completed and put into operation in June 2028. After the completion of the project, it can produce 1.0582 million tons of various products such as alkylbenzene, high carbon alcohols, high-quality light hydrocarbons, and Fischer Tropsch wax annually, while producing by-products such as mixed alcohols and sulfur.
