Far away from the domestic headquarters, the construction site of the Zambia Cartoon Ba project is bustling with activity. The photovoltaic power station equipment is arranged in an orderly manner, and the construction of mining, beneficiation, and smelting plants is carried out in an orderly manner. The supporting infrastructure and exploration work are carried out synchronously, and frontline construction personnel are making every effort to seize the golden period of construction. As a key layout for China National Mining Corporation's deep cultivation of the African market, this project has attracted much attention since its implementation and has now entered a critical stage of construction. In order to accurately control the quality and efficiency of construction and solve construction problems, the senior management of the enterprise visited the front line for on-site research, checked the construction details point-to-point, and provided comprehensive support for the smooth production of the project.

Frontline field survey

During the research process, Wang Pingwei went deep into the major core operation areas of the project, fully covering and verifying the overall construction of the project. Visited 50MW photovoltaic power plants, mining sites, beneficiation plants, and smelting plants to carefully inspect the construction progress and equipment preparation of the main project. At the same time, conduct on-site inspections of the living areas of Zanfang employees, peripheral mining exploration areas, water source pumping stations and other supporting facilities, comprehensively grasp the implementation of various work such as construction organization, resource guarantee, safety and environmental protection, and localized management. By conducting on-site inspections, detailed inquiries, and listening to special reports, we can accurately understand the current situation of project construction, pinpoint the shortcomings and difficulties in the promotion process, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent precise policy implementation and efficient tackling.

Anchor construction focus

Based on the on-site construction situation of the project, Wang Pingwei clarified the core direction and work standards of the project. He emphasized that the Cartoon Ba project is the core focus of China National Mining Corporation's overseas layout, and it is currently in a critical window period for breakthroughs. The project team needs to firmly anchor the overall construction goal, comprehensively consider safety, quality, progress, and cost, and refine the construction coordination and scheduling. Focus on core tasks such as key equipment installation, efficient connection of processes, and improvement of supporting engineering, and strengthen the construction responsibilities of each link. Focus on strengthening the construction of basic guarantee systems such as power supply and water supply, and comprehensively improve the operational stability of production lines after they are put into operation. At the same time, we will continue to deepen resource exploration and geological research, tap into the potential of resources, rely on localized team building and refined logistics management, and comprehensively improve the comprehensive operation and management level of the project.

Concentrate on landing and tackling challenges

After the on-site investigation was completed, the project department immediately held a special coordination meeting to focus on solving the construction bottlenecks of the project. The project team reports comprehensively on the progress of engineering construction, equipment installation, safety and environmental protection, material supply, personnel allocation, and external coordination. Each department conducts in-depth discussions on existing key and difficult issues.
