On June 20, 2026, the last unit of the Daduhe Jinchuan Hydropower Station, developed and manufactured by Harbin Electric Corporation, was successfully connected to the grid, and all units of the power station were put into operation, providing new support for the supply of clean energy in Southwest China. The Jinchuan Hydropower Station is located in the upper reaches of the Dadu River in Jinchuan County, Aba, Sichuan Province. It is invested and developed by the National Energy Group and is the sixth cascade hydropower station on the main stream of the Dadu River. The total installed capacity is 860000 kilowatts, equipped with four 215000 kilowatt mixed flow water turbine units. The entire set of generator supporting equipment is supplied by Harbin Electric Power Co., Ltd.
