Turkmenistan advances petrochemical upgrading

The country plans to build a new petrochemical product production line within the Baxi Refinery plant area, and the entire project will fully apply advanced modern process technology for construction. The relevant planning issues will be specifically discussed during the government's regular online work conference.

At the meeting, Vice Prime Minister Agazanov, who is in charge of the oil and gas sector, reported to the President on the current progress of work in Turkmenistan's oil company Kontsen. After listening to the work report, Turkmenistan President Sherdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that the country has been steadily carrying out the modernization and upgrading project of the refining industry for a long time, and continuously filling the gaps in petrochemical production capacity.
