Klang Valley in Kuala Lumpur has welcomed a brand-new transportation artery. On the first day of the opening of the Shah Alam Line light rail, many local residents came to check it out and experience it. Route Overview
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar officially opened the LRT3 Shah Alam Line at the Johor Bahru Sentral depot. The line, which cost 16.63 billion ringgit, was opened to the public on June 29, and passengers can enjoy free rides until July 31. The line is 37.8 kilometers long and has 20 stations, covering densely populated areas such as Klang and Shah Alam, serving 2 million residents along the line. It is expected to have an average daily ridership of 67,000 passengers in the first year and 117,000 passengers within five years.

Intelligent manufacturing train
This light rail adopts a fully automated driving mode, equipped with 22 three-car trains manufactured by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. The maximum speed is 80 kilometers per hour, with a maximum passenger capacity of 624 people per train, and the entire journey takes about 70 minutes.
