Faced with multiple challenges such as the construction of ultra long lines and complex park environments, the BMHRI project team collaborated with all parties to coordinate and advance, carrying out segmented construction day and night, and efficiently completing the construction tasks. This brand new domestically produced cableway has been successfully accepted, breaking industry records and achieving independent breakthroughs in core technology.

Technological innovation breakthrough

The cableway of Qingyuan Changlong Resort, which was inspected this time, is the first domestically produced double ring direct drive detachable cableway in China, equipped with BMHRI's independently developed double ring permanent magnet direct drive technology, abandoning the traditional gear reduction transmission structure. The horizontal length of the cableway is 3909.18 meters, setting a record for the length of a single passenger cableway in China. The route is equipped with 24 supports and 98 suspension cars, with a maximum operating speed of 6 meters per second and a maximum capacity of 2000 people per hour in one direction. Direct drive technology significantly reduces transmission losses and operating noise, ensuring smooth and comfortable operation of the suspended cabin. It is suitable for immersive tourism scenes in theme parks and combines the advantages of green, low-carbon, and high adaptability.

Empowering cultural and tourism upgrading

The landing and operation of this cableway will connect the core forest tourism area of the resort, open up the entire tourism route, significantly shorten the cross regional travel time of the park, effectively enhance the tourist carrying capacity and tourism experience of the scenic area, and ensure the normal operation of high passenger flow. As a standard setting unit in the domestic cableway industry, BMHRI has teamed up with Chimelong Group to completely break the foreign technology monopoly and verify the reliability of domestically produced ultra long distance detachable cableways.
