During the Shanghai World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Kazakhstan President Tokayev led a team to deeply connect with Chinese high-tech enterprises, embarking on a new journey of economic, trade, and digital industry cooperation between the two countries. This cross-border docking has landed over a hundred commercial documents and a cooperation order exceeding 15 billion US dollars, not only refreshing the scale of bilateral cooperation, but also promoting practical cooperation between China and Kazakhstan from traditional trade to a new stage of digitization and industrialization.

The focus of this cooperation is on the layout of digital infrastructure. Kazakhstan is fully committed to promoting the Ekibastuz Data Center Valley project, creating an international computing power and cloud service development platform, supporting and improving the site and power resources, and building a high-quality investment and operation environment. The project is not just about hardware infrastructure construction, but also focuses on creating a complete innovation ecosystem that integrates supercomputing, research institutions, and startups. Multiple enterprises from both China and Kazakhstan have reached cooperation agreements, consolidating the foundation of digital development in Kazakhstan.

Based on this cooperation opportunity, the two countries have implemented multiple science and education cooperation projects, focusing on cultivating digital talents to fill the gaps in development. Multiple universities in China and Kazakhstan have established joint colleges and research cooperation platforms, linking enterprises to carry out joint training of technical talents. At present, the popularization of AI basic education in Kazakhstan is steadily advancing, and 600000 college students have completed digital skills training. This year, 500 new schools will pilot digital teaching. According to statistics, there will be a huge shortage of digital and engineering technology talents in Kazakhstan in the next five years. Both companies have reached multiple cooperation consensuses in the fields of intelligent automobiles, port intelligent manufacturing, urban robots, smart logistics, and smart agriculture. Currently, over 200 agricultural and industrial enterprises in Kazakhstan have achieved intelligent operation, more than 650 farms have gradually completed digital upgrades, and the construction of intelligent freight platforms is also progressing in an orderly manner.
