This international freight train departs from Xining Shuangzhai Logistics Center of Qinghai Tibet Railway, and adopts the full journey railway container direct transportation mode. Qinghai logistics network extends to the hinterland of Indochina Peninsula for the first time by means of China Laos railway. After the channel is opened up, trade between Qinghai and Laos and neighboring countries will be smoother, effectively reducing logistics costs for enterprises and improving cross-border transportation efficiency. Salt Lake Chemical expands overseas markets

The train loaded 1150 tons of self-produced urea, achieving a breakthrough of zero self operated export of urea in Qinghai and becoming an important step for local fertilizer products to tap into the ASEAN market. As a landmark project of the the Belt and Road, the China Laos Railway has delivered more than 50 million tons of goods since its opening. Qinghai is an important hub of the Eurasian Continental Bridge, with international freight trains connecting 18 cities in 12 countries. In the first half of the year, a total of 97 international freight trains were operated.
