On August 17, 2026, Ambassador to Chad Wang Xining paid a visit to the Minister of Telecommunications, Digital Economy and Digitization of Chad, Hariki.

Ambassador Wang stated that the two countries are actively implementing their respective five-year development plans. China is willing to take the opportunity of planning docking to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Chad in areas such as communication infrastructure, digital technology, and talent training, injecting new impetus into bilateral practical cooperation.
