On August 17th, Russian President Putin stated in a congratulatory message for Indonesia's Independence Day that the relationship between Russia and Indonesia is developing successfully, and the two sides have had productive contacts.

The Russian side will continue to expand mutually beneficial partnerships at the bilateral level and within multilateral frameworks such as BRICS and Russia ASEAN dialogues. Putin also expressed his hope to meet with Indonesian President Prabowo in Vladivostok in early September.Editor/Min Jing
