CRCC has won a billion dollar overseas order, breaking the global record for aviation maintenance facility construction with its hardcore construction strength.

Super project starts construction and landing

Recently, the maintenance hangar project at Emirates Dubai World Centre Airport, undertaken by CRCC, has successfully completed the pouring of all 20 test piles, marking the official entry of the project into the physical construction phase. The project is located in the central area of Dubai World, with a total investment of 5.1 billion US dollars by Emirates Airlines. CRCC has won the bid for a contract amount of approximately 17.5 billion dirhams, equivalent to 34 billion yuan, and is planned to be fully completed by 2030. Set a record for the largest scale in the world

The total construction area of the project is approximately 1.21 million square meters, with a core construction of 8 maintenance hangars. The largest pillarless hangar has a span of 285 meters and is currently the world's largest free span hangar. After the completion of the project, it can accommodate 28 wide body passenger planes for maintenance operations at the same time, which will greatly enhance Dubai Airlines' operation and maintenance support capabilities, improve the layout of the local aviation industry chain, and consolidate Dubai's position as a global aviation hub.Editor/Min Jing
