On August 29, 2026, the first robot factory in Serbia, invested and constructed by the Chinese enterprise Minshi Group, held a commissioning ceremony at the Shabac factory area. Serbian President Vu č i ć attended, and Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mali, Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Mesarovi ć, Acting Charg é d'affaires Zhang Zhe of the Embassy in Serbia, and representatives of related enterprises and media attended.

Wu Qiqi visited the robot production workshop, inspected the performance display of robots in various application scenarios, and personally acted as a football goalkeeper to play against the shooting robot.   This robot factory is a new starting point, and we look forward to continuous new achievements in the field of high-tech cooperation between China and Serbia in the future. We also welcome more Chinese companies to invest in Serbia.

The responsible persons of Chinese enterprises such as Minshi Group thank the Serbian government for providing a good investment environment and express their willingness to continue actively expanding investment and construction in future industries such as artificial intelligence in Serbia, making new contributions to deepening the construction of a community with a shared future in the new era between China and Serbia. The Minshi Shabaz Robot Factory is also the first robot factory invested and built by a Chinese enterprise in Europe. The first batch of robots that will be produced in 2026 will be first applied to the professional World Expo in Belgrade in 2027, and will achieve full mass production in 2027.Editor/Gong Ziwei
