On August 31, 2026, China Anne Group Third Engineering Bureau will continue to open the damaged sections of National Highway G216 in Jilong County, Shigatse, Xizang, and steadily advance the construction to Jilong Port by means of slag filling, wading riprap and other operations. As of 17:00 on the 31st, the rush operation area is only 1.1 kilometers away from the port, and the most difficult section of the entire line has entered the sprint stage.
