In recent days, the damaged section of National Highway G216 at Jilong Port in Xizang has been in serious danger, with rapid water flow and complex terrain seriously blocking traffic. China Anneng Group Third Engineering Bureau Rushing to the front line, deploying personnel and equipment to fight day and night, steadily advancing road access operations.

Make every effort to overcome obstacles

On August 31, 2026, China Anne Group Third Engineering Bureau will continue to open the damaged sections of National Highway G216 in Jilong County, Shigatse, Xizang, and steadily advance the construction to Jilong Port by means of slag filling, wading riprap and other operations. As of 17:00 on the 31st, the rush operation area is only 1.1 kilometers away from the port, and the most difficult section of the entire line has entered the sprint stage. A total of 158 personnel and 28 sets of various construction equipment have been deployed in this rescue operation, concentrating elite forces to tackle the core sections affected by the disaster.

Cleverly solving the difficult problem of emergency rescue

The working conditions at the rescue site are extremely complex, with steep cliffs and dangerous rocks on one side of the road and deep rapids and grooves on the other side. The working space is narrow, and large machinery cannot operate side by side. The silt in the riverbed is soft and easy to slip, and the filling stones are easily washed away by fast currents, resulting in huge resistance to construction progress. In response to the harsh environment, the rescue team adopted a relay operation mode of excavators, delivering and stacking stone materials one by one to build anti erosion barriers, filling and compacting the roadbed layer by layer, and extending the construction section by section in the fast flowing area, steadily opening up new roads for traffic. To prevent secondary disasters such as rockfall and landslides, the rescue team moved forward to detect forces and relied on laser video AI monitoring devices to monitor cliff deformation 24/7 and identify safety hazards in real time. Open up dedicated escape routes on site, implement a two shift work mode where people and machines stop, provide full coverage of night lighting to ensure construction, and ensure that all personnel continue to work hard to open up the passage of life, ensuring the smooth entry of rescue forces and large machinery into the disaster area.Editor/Min Jing
