At the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, high-level meetings were held between China and Russia to discuss the development path of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields based on the good foundation of the two countries.

On the evening of September 2, 2026, Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Russian President Putin in Vladivostok.   Both sides will implement the consensus reached at the SCO Summit, deepen cooperation in investment and energy fields, and promote the alignment of China's Northeast revitalization with Russia's Far East development strategy.
