At the Guangdong Honghai Bay offshore project site, a rigorous type test successfully concluded. The 500 kV offshore wind power specialized reactor independently developed by TBEA Hengyang Transformer has passed all tests at once. This 150 megawatt low voltage equipment faces the test of deep sea salt spray and high humidity vibration, breaking through multiple technical bottlenecks and laying a solid foundation for the core equipment of offshore wind power transmission.

Overcoming the barriers of hardcore technology

This 500 kV reactor is a core equipment for voltage regulation and stability control in offshore power grids. It can compensate for line capacitive reactive power, suppress system overvoltage, and is an economical and simple solution suitable for offshore engineering. The development of equipment is extremely difficult. Under high voltage and large capacity working conditions, it must withstand harsh marine environments for a long time, and solve problems such as disturbed leakage magnetic fields, uneven insulation, corrosion resistance, and attenuation. It puts forward extremely high standards for the control of the entire manufacturing process.

Unite and overcome the situation
